Here's the red Pikmin I finished yesterday ^__^

The red ones are immune to fire and are better fighters in battle. I'm not sure why they have a pointy nose though :lol:

He's made with the same hand designed pattern as the blue and yellow ones and this time I went with the bud on top of his head. Again, he's made from felt and stuffed with the filling from an old pillow (which I highly recommend as stuffing for plush toys; bit of recycling and saves a lot of money!!).

He's about 8 inches tall to the tip of his bud.

The little guy in the game (Olimar) calls them Pikmin because they remind him of his favourite food; Pik Pik carrots!! In the game, new Pikmin are grown in the ground with only their leaf visible above ground and you pull them out just like you would root vegetables, so it's not surprising they remind you of veggies =D

It's so much better when you play it! Pikmin 1 has that desperation of finding all his ship parts in time and Pikmin 2 has scary caves to explore. the worst thing is when your Pikmin get eaten or something just as horrible!!
