Simple doll kimono tutorial

I thought I'd give this a go! Hopefully my instructions and photos are OK and you can understand what I mean?

It works for all size dolls because of it's simplicity!! No pattern required, just a piece of plain paper, a ruler and a pencil ^__^

Model: my Obitsu 27cm eyehole head doll.

BTW if you're wondering where instruction number 10 went, I copied the same photo twice, but forgot to update the numbers on the instructions

P.S. Just wanted to add, if anything is unclear (this is the first time I've ever done anything like this), please feel free to send me a note and I'll do my best to explain further ^__^

Another little edit. If you want to stiffen the collar, get a little iron on interfacing and cut it to half the width of the piece of fabric for the collar and approx 1cm shorter. As you fold and press the collar, the interfacing will stick onto the fabric and it works wonders and gives the collar a much crisper look. I've been using it a lot for my most recent kimonos. An alternative to interfacing is another strip of fabric again half the width and 1cm shorter!
